FINALS!

Hey Ladies, 

Finals have arrived! As I said before, finals will be played over a 2 week span. B pool first, followed by A pool, that way we have enough time to playout "best of 3" matches. Also, you'll note that only the top eight teams made it to the playoffs. Unfortunately coordinating a 9 team bracket with our limited space/time was too much of a challenge. 

Also, because not all teams played the same number of games, instead of going by wins/losses like I usually do, in order to make it fair I went by average points per game. 

Here are the standings heading into playoffs:

B Pool - Thursday, November 30, 2017
5th: Eliminators

8th: Impact

A Pool - Thursday, December 7, 2017

3rd: Lindsay

Finally, I have had a few questions about the upcoming winter season. At this point I do not have a confirmed start date, but expect that it will be mid-January. Please continue to check the website as that is where I will post updates as I get them. You must email me (lindsaywatts07@gmail.com) if you wish to reserve a spot for the upcoming winter season. 

One last thing, if anyone has feedback regarding preference of play time (ie. prefer playing all three teams 1 game to 31, or go back to playing only 2 teams but 2 sets to 21) I would love to try to accommodate to keep everyone happy.

Spring 2017 R4s Playoffs!

Hey Everyone,

I know that I originally posted that this upcoming week (June 15, 2017) is a flex week, and then we would have two weeks of playoffs, however, it turns out we will have to use this week (June 15, 2017) to do the round robin of our playoffs, and next week (June 22, 2017) to finish off the finals of the season!

That being said, only the top four teams will make it into the playoffs.

THANK YOU! (& brief next season plans)

Thank you so much to all four teams for making our first attempt at running Co-ed Reverse 4s turn into an epic spring season!

I plan to stay in touch with the athletic director at ACSS and it sounds like she is going to try to get us more gym time (i.e. more nights a week), which hopefully means that, come fall season, I will be able to run both Womens 6s as well as Co-ed Reverse 4s (no idea which nights will be available yet, or how many hours per night). 

I will continue to post updates here as they come so feel free to check back periodically, but otherwise, enjoy your summer!

So far other than requests for specific times slots, I have been adjusting the weekly schedule based on the points acquired during the previous weeks play (not by win/loss). For the "official standings", you'll notice I have listed both (total accumulated points, as well as wins/losses). 

I think going by the points instead of just win/loss this season has kept a little more variety in the teams we play each week so I hope everyone is enjoying it! It also gives a bit more of an advantage to the teams who may not always win, but seem to make it very tight games! :)

I got a lot of positive feedback these last two weeks and to be honest, it felt so rewarding to hear.
